What: 67th Sausalito Art Festival Preview Party
About the event:
More than 260 award-winning artists from around the country and 30,000 patrons flocked to the waterfront village of Sausalito, California, on Labor Day weekend for the annual Sausalito Art Festival. The event started Friday night with the preview party, where guests mingled with the artists while enjoying open wine and champagne bars and California BBQ. Entertainment was provided by DJ Cams, Tim Decker Speed Painting and more. Each year, some 1,000 community volunteers help keep the festival running smoothly. Produced by the nonprofit Sausalito Art Festival Foundation, the event raised over $1,000,000 to support year-round activities. Proceeds from the festival support the local arts community with student scholarships, grants to non-profit arts organizations and community programs.
