Perfect Pastry with Luce SF Chef

Pastries speak volumes, seriously. Can you think of anything that says thank you/hello/I’m sorry or fosters a sense of good will as much as a warm, freshly baked good does? No such thing exists. If you want to learn how to cook up some of these instant captivators, come over to the Fork kitchen for some hands-on instruction from Chef Laura Yuen of Luce at the InterContinental San Francisco. Luce has been recognized with a Michelin star since 2010 and Laura’s desserts reflect and live up to this distinction. Here, she will be showing 4-6 recipes which include both sweet and savory pastries. A sit down, family style lunch including a focused tasting of Point Reyes Farmstead cheeses and a farm walking tour will follow.
