About the party:
Around 230 guests gathered for a silent and live auction to benefit the Marin Center for Independent Living. Approximately $500,000 was raised through a combination of sponsorship funding and the evening’s events. These included a Don Julio Tequila Tasting, a wine tasting with seven exclusive vintners, Hog Island Oyster Bar, a gourmet dinner and an extraordinary live auction featuring State Senator Mike McGuire as our auctioneer, in addition to the center’s famous Telford’s Cigar and Cognac Lounge.
Marin Center for Independent Living runs programs and services assist aging adults and people with all types of disabilities to help them continue living independently in their homes. In May, The MCIL Angels will be hosting their second annual Ladies’ Boutique, Luncheon and Fashion Show, featuring Trina Turk.
