Marin GRAMMY® Nominee Honored at Recording Academy Event

It's award season! And while nominees can often seem like they're worlds away from us, this year Marin's own Steven Halpern will be vying for a GRAMMY®.

Halpern, who lives in San Anselmo, has been nominated in the Best New Age Album category, for his album Deep Alpha. The Recording Academy® San Francisco Chapter honored Halpern and other Bay Area nominees last week at the Regency Center.

Also nominated (though not in attendance) was legend and fellow Marinite Tom Waits.
