Jewish Family and Children's Services held its 160th Anniversary Gala and Fammy Awards at the San Francisco Ritz-Carlton. The Fammy Awards program honored community members of strength and generosity. All proceeds from the event benefit children, families, and elderly in crisis.
At the annual Raccoon Ball, presented by the Raccoon Branch of Marin General Hospital Volunteers, guests donned their best saris for a Mumbai Magic theme and an evening of cocktails, dinner and dancing. Proceeds supported the Marin General Hospital Programs.
At Bread & Roses' recent benefit concert at Teatro ZinZanni guests were treated to a performance by Lara Johnston and her father, Tom Johnston of the Doobie Brothers. Bread and Roses' produces over 600 concerts a year that help to bring live music to audiences throughout the Bay Area.

American Conservatory Theater's Crystal Ball at the Yerba Buena Center for the Arts's Forum raised more than $670,000 for A.C.T.'s conservatory programs. Guests were treated to a performance by Tony Award winner and A.C.T. Master of Fine Arts Program alumna Anika Noni Rose.
Over 1,000 guests attended Marin Catholic High School's annual fashion show at the Marin Civic Center Exhibit Hall. The event featured 275 Marin Catholic student models who wore clothing donated by 25 local stores and boutiques. Over $300,000 was raised to benefit Marin Catholic High School.
At the Redwoods 18th annual Senior Prom residents of the Mill Valley retirement community and students from the Tamalpais High School leadership class danced the night away and then crowned their 99-year-old prom queen Jean Murphy and their 96-year-old prom king Martin Friedman.
Foodies (and our own local celebrity chefs) gathered at Hotel Healdsburg and Dry Creek Kitchen for the sold-out Pigs and Pinot event. The weekend kicked off with a tasting of over 50 Pinot Noir's alongside pork-themed appetizers. All proceeds from Pigs and Pinot benefited Share Our Strength and local Healdsburg education programs.
