Hardly Strictly Bluegrass Festival
Are you a bluegrass fan? Great. Does bluegrass not even register on your radar? Still fine. The free annual festival has been attracting acts across genres in the 15 years it’s been around, featuring everyone from Chris Isaak to Gogol Bordello on their stages. This year, Los Lobos, Neko Case, Emmylou Harris and many more are among the additions to the finalized lineup. Fans will also get a chance to see local favorites Michael Franti & Spearhead, who will be returning to the park ever since their free Golden Gate Park concert (Power to the Peaceful) ended in 2010.
Anyone who’s attended the festival over the years can attest to the fun that’s had and surprises in store, so it’s hard to imagine that this year will be different. Bring a blanket, food, drinks, friends, and settle in for a memorable weekend.
