California’s Artisan Cheese Festival

What’s not to love about cheese? It’s rich, creamy, delicious and always has been a weakness of mine. The second the cheese platter comes out I’m all over it and I have found that I would rather eat cheese and crackers for dinner than a traditional main course. It doesn’t even matter what kind: goat, cheddar, gruyere, manchego. I love them all.

This weekend is the 10th annual California Artisan Cheese festival in Petaluma, an entire weekend dedicated to indulging some of the nation’s best. The nonprofit is looking to educate the general public about artisan cheese making, support the local farmers, and celebrate the scrumptious result of the art of cheesemaking. There will also be educational seminars and tastings led by experts. Although cheese will be the start, wine, beer, and food will be available as well. Don’t miss out on the perfect excuse to eat cheese all weekend!
