Long Strange Trip Paddle Race

Long, that’s for sure. Strange, hmm… maybe unforgettable would be a better adjective. This thirteen mile race goes from Fort Baker’s Horseshoe Bay at the base of the Golden Gate Bridge to 101 Surf Sports in San Rafael. Certainly not for the faint of heart, the event is limited to 75 advanced racers only for obvious reasons. Those who are up for the challenge both physically and mentally are encouraged to register online — onsite registration and check in begins at 8 a.m. on race day.
